About Project Sort It Out! - Data Collection Phase 2025
Project Sort It Out! (SIO) aims to tackle the national problem of low recycling rates, starting with Pioneer constituency. Through data collection, research, outreach, and engagement with young families, team Re:COVER aims to foster greater awareness and commitment to sustainability within the community. Join us on our journey in paving the way for a neighbourhood with minimal waste, empowering residents to recycle more, and recycle right.
As a volunteer, your key responsibility is to survey residents of Pioneer Constituency, working alongside like-minded volunteers to understand residents' recycling behaviour. The day will start off with an Orientation and Training (OnT) session, followed by making our way around various units for doorknocking outreach. Your work will contribute to our future recycling efforts in the constituency, which you’ll get to be a part of!
Project SIO is supported by the National Environmental Agency (NEA) and Zero Waste SG.
This opportunity is a youth-led initiative as part of the Youth Corps Leaders Programme (Cohort 35).
