About Big Brother Big Sister 9.0 x Thru The Lens 4.0
Big Brother Big Sister 9.0 is a series of Saturdates (Saturday playdates) organised by the Youth Corps Singapore Special Needs Cluster. It aims to further expand opportunities for inclusive play while empowering children and deepening caregiver engagement through enhanced respite sessions. In collaboration with Thru the Lens 4.0, a creative media and experiential community initiative by Youth Corps Singapore Media Team. It hopes to bring youth photographers through inclusive play, and creative storytelling, fostering meaningful connections while capturing authentic moments throughout the sessions.
We would like to invite you to join us as a volunteer befriender to befriend children with special needs during the playdates. The commitment level is as follows:
- Mandatory Orientation & Training (22 August 2026)
- 4 playdates (29 August 2026, 5 September 2026, 12 September 2026, 19 September 2026)
All sessions — except for 12 September 2026, which will be held at Jurong Lake Gardens — will be held at The Red Box.
