About Project SparkEd - Book Donation Drive (Aug)
Be part of a meaningful initiative to collect and manage book donations for Project SparkEd, a student-initiated volunteer project partnering with Morning Star Community Services to support underprivileged children. (Book donation involves pre-loved textbooks/other books.)
Your role:
- Facilitate book collection in your own schools for one week in mid-August, helping coordinate donations and ensure smooth collection efforts.
- Help with collection, sorting, and packing of donated books
What you’ll gain:

- Experience in event planning and team organisation
- Opportunity to volunteer with a YFC project
Who can join:
Open to all students aged 15-18 who are responsible, committed, and willing to contribute to a community-driven cause. We are looking for motivated students to support both on-the-ground volunteering and committee roles for a YFC project.
Sign-up note:
You are strongly encouraged to sign up in groups of at least 4 from the same school, as we need multiple volunteers per school. You may coordinate among yourselves and sign up separately. This will also increase your chances of being selected.
