About this programme
As Singapore turns 60, HomeHack is a national call for youth to shape the future they wish to inherit. It’s not just about dreaming of a caring, inclusive society—it’s about building it, and defending it from the digital forces that threaten to divide. Over an electrifying month, youths will transform empathy into innovation, and ideas into prototypes that make Singapore safer, kinder, and more united.
👨💻💡Hackathon
Teams will be tasked to design programs, platforms, or apps that address two key missions:
- Build a Caring and Inclusive Society
- Prototype tools that support vulnerable communities, promote giving, or normalize empathy in schools, workplaces, and everyday life.
- Defend Against Digital Disruption and Division
- Create solutions that protect Singapore from misinformation, foreign interference, and other online threats that fracture trust.
Inspired by Total Defence and marking SG60, HomeHack is a unique Hackathon that brings together Social, Digital, and Psychological Defence in one space—where caring becomes strategic, and defence becomes communal.
How to participate:
- Form a team with 3 or 4 youths
