About event

Discover new career options in F&B! 🍽️
Kickstart your journey by earning your Food Safety & Hygiene Level 1 (FSC L1) Certification --- the must-have credential to legally handle food in Singapore. It’s a one-day course that equips you with essential hygiene skills, opens doors to jobs and internships, and sets you up for entrepreneurship in cafés, pop-ups, or new food ventures.

Get Certified. Get Safe. Be Ready.

Take the first step toward realising your own food business, becoming a F&B entrepreneur, or landing a job in the F&B industry by attaining your official Food Safety & Hygiene Level 1 (FSC L1) certification.

This course is a government-recognised requirement for anyone handling or preparing food in Singapore’s F&B businesses. Normally priced at over $150, it is now fully subsidised for youth participants as part of RP’s Food & Beverage Industry (FBI) Pilot Programme supported by the National Youth Council.

This hands-on course will equip you to:

  1. Practice good personal hygiene in food prep areas
  2. Identify common food safety risks and how to avoid contamination
  3. Store ingredients properly and maintain equipment hygiene
  4. Handle and cook food safely to meet national standards
  5. Comply with SFA regulations for retail and non-retail food establishments

You'll complete both theory and practical components, and receive your Statement of Attainment (SOA) upon passing the assessment.
