Then, put yourself in the shoes of a programme designer and turn what you’ve learnt into a learning experience of your own.

• 🔎 Explore Singapore’s social service landscape and discover the different roles, job functions and pathways within the sector.

• 👥 Understand the people behind the programmes and see how their needs, experiences and challenges can influence the way learning is designed.

• 💡 Discover how empathy shapes programme design, from deciding what people need to learn to considering how they can participate meaningfully.

• ✏️ Take on a hands-on learning design challenge — work with your team to create a lesson or learning experience for an assigned target group, applying your ideas to a real-world scenario.

Whether you’re exploring careers in social work, counselling, psychology, youth work, community work or other helping professions, interested in learning and programme design, or simply curious about how social impact happens behind the scenes, this workshop gives you the chance to experience the sector from a new perspective. The programme is designed for youths exploring careers, volunteering opportunities and future pathways across social service, training, community work and related fields.
