Manga Lettering Workshop

[Reccomended for Young Adults] Ever wondered how Japanese manga becomes the English-language version you read?

In this hands-on demonstration and workshop, you’ll get an introduction to manga lettering for Japanese-to-English localisation. Learn how letterers choose fonts, place dialogue, and adapt Japanese sound effects while keeping the artwork clear and expressive.

After the demonstration, you’ll get to try lettering some manga-style sound effects on paper yourself. No design, drawing or Japanese-language experience is needed.
