About event
Micro-job Taster: Discover Clinical Research Coordination
Back by popular demand
85% of participants in our first run had never heard of this role before.
Hosted by the Singapore Clinical Research Institute (SCRI), this micro-job taster gives you a rare behind-the-scenes look at Clinical Research Coordination. Few people have heard of the role, but it shapes how new treatments make their way to patients.
Clinical Research Coordinators make sure trials are run safely and ethically. They work closely with patients while helping to move medical knowledge forward.
In this session, you will:
- 🔎 Find out what Clinical Research Coordinators actually do. Get a feel for the day-to-day tasks and responsibilities that keep a clinical trial running.
- 🌱 Reflect on your own Good Work mix. Think about what motivates you, what you value and what you need to thrive.
- 🙋🏻♀️ Connect with people in the field. Hear career stories from experienced professionals, and ask your questions about pathways, skills and opportunities in clinical research.
You might be a student weighing up healthcare pathways or a youth drawn to psychology, science, research or medicine and want to see where else that interest could take you. This session shows how people skills, attention to detail and real care for patients come together in one career.
