Museum of Stories — Stories in Every Stitch / Just Keep Stitching

Drop into a cosy open-studio session and spend some time making with your hands. You’ll be introduced to basic hand-stitching and Peranakan-inspired beading, with guidance available as you try the techniques at your own pace.

Along the way, hear the stories behind some of the objects displayed on the shelf and the memories connected to them. Visitors are also welcome to share their own stories, especially those tied to clothing, craft, family or meaningful objects.

No prior sewing or beading experience is needed. Come by to learn something simple, make something small and have a conversation while you work.
