New York City, 1899. Jack Kelly and his fellow newsies make a living selling newspapers on the bustling streets of the city. But when powerful publisher Joseph Pulitzer raises the price the newsies must pay for their papers, Jack and his friends decide they’ve had enough.
What begins as a fight for a fair deal quickly grows into something much bigger. With courage, determination, a little mischief, and plenty of heart, the newsies discover what can happen when ordinary people stand together and make their voices heard.
