POV: You’re an NYC Officer (Run 1)

Ever wondered how the Public Service empowers and supports young people in Singapore?  

 

POV: You're an NYC Officer is a half-day career exploration programme where you'll discover what it’s like to support youth development and create meaningful opportunities for young people. 

 

Take on real-life workplace challenges: 
You'll get to choose two job taster experiences from the activities available on the day, which may include: 

• Partnership Lab Officer – Review grant proposals, navigate project challenges, and build partnerships to support youth initiatives. 

• Strategic Communications Officer – Develop communication strategies and campaign ideas to engage different audiences. 

• Strategic Planning Officer – Analyse information from different sources and translate insights into recommendations.   

• Global Office Officer – Participate in an ASEAN roundtable simulation to experience regional collaboration, negotiation, and consensus-building. 

• Human Resource Officer – Design an onboarding experience that helps new colleagues feel welcomed and supported.
