About me

"Anni is a patent examiner, with about 10 years of experience in intellectual property (IP). Her daily job deals with the patentability of Singapore patent applications. Previously, she was a Singapore registered patent agent at a local IP firm, where her work included educating entrepreneurs on IP, and applying for patent protection on behalf of local research institutes, multinational corporations, and startups. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences, Graduate Certificate in IP Law, and Master of Science in IP Management, from NUS. Her technical background is in biomedical science, but is experienced in various technologies from additive manufacturing, cultured meat, to cell and gene therapy. Anni is passionate about supporting the local biotech startup ecosystem, and mentoring both students and working professionals. She also has an interest in educating financial literacy in young adults and advocating sustainability. In her free time, she explores cafes and restaurants with friends."
