Jonathan Chan

About me

"At CIIP, Jonathan has been involved in projects in financial inclusion, sustainable supply chain transformation, sustainable agriculture, and applications of digital technology for sustainable development. Prior to his role at CIIP, he held internship positions in the Investment and Impact Management and Measurement teams at ABC Impact in 2019 and 2020 and at Temasek Trust in 2021. Jonathan holds a Master of Arts in English from the University of Cambridge and Master of Arts in East Asian Studies from Yale University. He was a 2050 Fellow with the Yale Center for Business and the Environment and holds a Sustainable Investing Certificate, CFA Institute, as well as a Sustainability Excellence Associate Credential from Green Business Certification Inc. Jonathan spent a summer as an international scholar at Tsinghua University and has acquired professional experience at Singapore’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, The Observer New Review, various non-profit organizations, the Yale School of Medicine, and as a secondary school teacher. Outside of CIIP, he serves as Managing Editor of poetry.sg, a Member of the English Subcommittee for Poetry Festival Singapore, and on the editorial and reading boards for various literary journals. He is also involved in mentoring and community volunteering."
