About me

"I am JJ and I have over 15 years of experience in transformation work, ranging from Multi-National Corporations to SMEs. Throughout my career, I've worked with business leaders and founders, including being a founder myself, from fund-raising to execution and leading companies from 0-1 and growing from 1-100. From humble beginnings surviving on bursaries to side hustles, then becoming a Keppel Group Scholar starting off in a "dirty" shipyard environment - I definitely did not set out on this path as planned. My most recent endeavor is on youth development - I cofounded Scoop with a few like-minded friends and partners - as we observe seismic shifts (be it AI or the changing world order/economy) which will impact the immediate next generation of youths who are in the budding stage of their future building. I believe I can help mentees make sense of career paths (which may seem hazy now for many - it didn't turn out as planned for me too!) as well as developing clarity towards their mental pathways and approach towards life. Having trained as an academic-practitioner in my practice, I will also be able to guide research minds towards how they can excel as a business practitioner."
