Chee Siang

Assistant Director, Engineering Management, GovTech

About me

"Heyo, I'm CS, the Engineering Lead for GovTech Anti-Scam Products (GASP), where I lead a team of engineers working with law enforcement to disrupt scams at scale. We do scam analytics, fraud detection, scam engagement and intelligence extraction, and investigation systems. Before this, I was Tech Lead for Singpass Myinfo and led several critical product launches and cloud migration initiatives. Here's what I've learned in my past 12+ years of experience: early career, the right guidance matters more than the right job title. What sticks with you isn't the tasks you were given, but the way someone taught you to think through them. Happy to grab a coffee (or bubble tea) and chat about breaking into tech, technical leadership, cloud architecture, scaling teams, or what an AI-driven future means for your career. "

I'm interested in Digital and Technology.

I've worked in Engineering Services, Financial Services, Infocomm Technology, Public Service and Security.
