About me

"I am a Deputy Director at the Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS), with over 14 years of experience in the social service and education sector. Earlier in my career, I spent more than 10 years in the hospitality industry before making a mid-career switch into the social service sector. Today, I oversee the operations and administration of 12 learning centres across Singapore, with experience in team leadership, stakeholder engagement, project management, customer experience and process improvement. My career journey has taught me the importance of adapting to change, continuous learning and taking opportunities to grow. As a parent of two young people, I also appreciate the aspirations, choices and challenges that youths face as they navigate education and their future. As a mentor, I hope to share my experiences, provide practical guidance, and help young people build confidence, develop their strengths and make informed choices about their future."
