About me

"I’m Ruiming, one of the creators behind The Woke Salaryman. I started this journey in 2019 because I realized how little I—and many others—truly understood about managing money until a personal family crisis forced me to learn. My goal is simply to help people use financial literacy as a tool for a more intentional, less stressful life. My background is in copywriting and startups, where I spent years learning how to communicate complex ideas through storytelling. I’ve made plenty of mistakes along the way, and that’s exactly what I bring to my mentoring. I’m here to share the honest, sometimes messy reality of building a mission-driven platform and the challenges of balancing creative passion with commercial survival.
