About me

"I am a counsellor and former engineer with experience supporting young adults through personal, emotional, relationship and life challenges. I also work in a diverse educational environment, where I interact with youths from different backgrounds as part of their everyday school life. These experiences have given me opportunities to listen to young people, understand the challenges they face, and appreciate the different ways they see themselves and the world around them. I enjoy supporting youths as they explore their identity, strengths, relationships, studies, future direction and transition into adulthood. As a mentor, I hope to be a supportive and approachable adult whom young people can speak openly with, while helping them think through challenges, discover their strengths and perspectives, and develop greater confidence in making decisions and finding their own direction."
