Kevin Chia

About me

"I'm Kevin, a semi-retired entrepreneur who reached early retirement at 40 through years of building businesses from the ground up. I started with smaller ventures, learning through trial and error, before growing Vivre Activewear into the business that really took off, co-founded with my wife. Alongside that, I run Snapbook.ai, a back-office software platform for small businesses. My approach has always been bootstrapped, reinvesting profits, staying lean, and building up capital and investments along the way rather than chasing funding or scaling too fast. Beyond business, I've also thought a lot about how to navigate life practically in Singapore, property planning and timing around BTOs, building an investment game plan, and making informed decisions early rather than reacting later. To me, life is really a sum of calculated risks, how much you take on depends on your end goal, and the important part is enjoying the process along the way, not just the outcome. I can help mentees think through what it actually takes to start a business from scratch, how to plan financially in the Singapore context, and how to work through the challenges that come with taking a less conventional path. You can find more about what I do at kevinchia.sg."

I'm interested in Business and Enterprise, Digital and Technology, Economy and Finance, Family and Relationships, Mental Well-being and Sports and Physical Well-being.

I've worked in Infocomm Technology and Retail.
