About me

"I have dedicated 26 years to serving with the Singapore Police Force, progressing from Police Corporal to my current rank of Police Inspector through commitment and hard work. My career has been marked by diverse experiences that have shaped both my professional capabilities and personal growth. During my early years in service, I was actively involved in divisional sports activities, participating in the PSA dragon boat competition, PSA cross country marathon (10km run), and serving as an assistant convenor for boxing. These activities fostered teamwork and discipline that have served me well throughout my career. After three years in uniformed sectors, I was honoured to be posted to plainclothes departments, where I gained extensive experience working directly with the public. This exposure has deepened my understanding of community dynamics and enhanced my ability to connect with people from all walks of life—skills I believe are invaluable for mentoring and leadership roles. My journey through the ranks has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of police operations, from frontline duties to investigative work, positioning me well to guide and support others in their professional development."
