About me

"I’m Afiq and I have been actively volunteering in the Malay Muslim community for almost the past decade. Throughout my volunteering career, I have organised and managed events that engages beneficiaries through ration distributions, family day festivities and home makeovers. Additionally, other programmes such as focus discussion groups and minister dialogues by empowering youths from different background to share their perspectives with others and learning to appreciate different viewpoints and build mutual respect within the community. Through my experiences, I hope to guide mentees in discovering their own passion for service and community involvement. More importantly, I want to help them understand that volunteering is not simply about giving time, but about building compassion, developing purpose, and creating a positive impact that extends beyond oneself."

I'm interested in Arts and Heritage, Mental Well-being, Social Cohesion and Volunteer and Philanthropy .
