"Hi! I am Paul, a B2B marketing practitioner, adviser, coach, and mentor. My career has spanned regional Chief Marketing Officer advisory work and coaching, as well as20 years in Senior APAC B2B Marketing leadership roles. As Research Director at Forrester (SiriusDecisions), I worked closely with organisations to transform their marketing functions into high-performing teams aligned with business goals. My leadership journey actually began as a commissioned officer in the British Royal Air Force, where I first learned what it takes to lead and mentor teams—experience I built on for decades, at times leading groups of up to 70 people. Along the way, I've advised hiring managers on how to design roles and structure teams in B2B marketing, and I've navigated several career transitions myself, which has given me a real appreciation for what it takes to stay resilient and motivated through change. As a Volunteer Career Advisor, I want to help you clarify your career goals and build a practical plan to reach them. I will share with you valuable advice I received throughout my career journey and share those insights I wish I had as I started out in the workforce. I see myself first and foremost as a good listener, and I look forward to drawing on my coaching experience and my network across the B2B marketing world to guide you thoughtfully, wherever you are in your journey."
