About me

"hello! I'm Petrina, a UX Designer at GovTech - I love tea, pets, naps and admin work (in that order). I've spent the past 5 years working on designing systems to be better but I actually just love figuring out why people think and do things the way they do. I spend my Saturdays with youth at church - so I get when you say you're cooked,,, don't worry about losing aura around me. I genuinely love listening and yapping, and I've got loads of stories personal and professional about how to find out what you enjoy doing, apply for internships/jobs, UX, design, being a woman in STEAM (harhar). On a more professional note - I've worked on strategic pieces (tourism during COVID) and migrating legacy enterprise systems (aka Matrix systems built in the 80s to a new one now) for distributing GST Vouchers and currently TradeNet (trading system for everything going through Singapore). So I like zooming out to get the big picture and narrowing down to the small details :)"
