About me

"Hi, I'm Vincent — also known as The Security Guy. After more than 20 years working across telecommunications, energy, system integration, enterprise environments, and now the public sector, I've learned one important thing: the more you know, the more you realize there's still so much to learn. And with AI entering the picture, that learning curve just got a whole lot steeper. I am NOT a cybersecurity expert! Instead, I'm someone who has been fortunate to gain experience from different sides of the table — from engineer to security know-how, vendor to end user, private sector to government. Those experiences have given me a broader perspective on technology, security, risk, and the people behind them. I'm passionate about helping organizations navigate cybersecurity challenges, translating complex security concepts into practical outcomes, and occasionally reminding people that cybersecurity is ultimately a people problem with a technology component—not the other way around.
