Zakes

Container Sales Manager APAC, SeaCube Container Leasing

About me

""Every career journey is an opportunity to reinvent yourself." Zakes Quek leads the trading department for the Asia Pacific region at SeaCube Container Leasing, bringing over 12 years of expertise in logistics and commercial management. Shaped by a non-linear career across global multinational firms and the challenges of corporate restructuring, Zakes views adaptability as a competitive advantage. Having navigated both high-performing leadership roles and career transitions, he approaches mentorship with radical honesty and deep empathy. Beyond his commercial responsibilities, Zakes is actively committed to talent development and career advisory through the Skills and Workforce Development Agency (SWDA) and community programs, paying forward the guidance that shaped his own path. He looks forward to partnering with mentees who are curious, honest about their current standing, and ready to take practical steps toward their next professional chapter."
