Overview
Architectural drafters assist project architects by using building design software applications to sketch or draw up initial building plans and carrying out administrative duties.
Description
- Prepare schematic design drawings, building plans, and other architectural drawings and documents.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and relevant personnel to execute and deliver the project.
- Attend site meetings and ensure smooth project operations.
- Amend and update design drawings and building plans.
- Collaborate with project architects throughout the project and perform other assigned duties.
Entry requirements
- You will need minimally a Diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Drafting, or any relevant discipline is required.
- If you have a relevant design and/or architecture portfolio, it would be an advantage. Knowledge of and familiarity with common construction materials and methods are required.
