Overview
Narcotics officers carry out operations to keep Singapore drug-free.
Description
- Escort suspects and drug offenders to take urine samples.
- Join field operations to arrest drug offenders.
- Go undercover to catch people transporting drugs.
- Gather information and evidence.
- Educate the public about drug laws.
Entry requirements
- You need at least a Diploma for direct-entry sergeant, and a Degree for direct-entry inspector.
- Good physical fitness and normal colour vision are required. Male applicants must complete National Service with PES A or B1 fitness. For post-October 2027 enlistment, new BMT/BT Programme classification applies.
