SEAcret Gatherings #2

SEAcret Gatherings #2

Key takeaways

On 15 Aug 2025, SEAmplified hosted our second SEAcret Gatherings — a space for youths in Singapore to explore Southeast Asia in a way that feels less intimidating than traditional networking.

At SEAcret Gatherings #2, 23 youths joined us alongside 3 inspiring secret guests:

Admond Lee — physicist turned data scientist, and founder of The Runway Ventures, a newsletter spotlighting failed startup stories

Ho Zhi Hui 何芝慧 — founder of Skilio, helping Gen Zs in Southeast Asia unlock cross-border careers

Wang Junyong — a Singaporean running an international school and kindergarten in Cambodia

The gathering showed us how resilience is built by learning systematically from failure (Admond Lee), how success must be redefined through skills, adaptability, and cross-border opportunities (Ho Zhi Hui), and how courage to step into uncertainty can create lasting regional impact in education (Wang Junyong).

Participants walked away with new connections and fresh insights on what's possible in Southeast Asia! We will see you at the next one!
