About Project RISE - 2025, Cycle 1
Join Project RISE to make a difference to the lives of youths at the Singapore Boys' Hostel!
Project RISE seeks to befriend youths staying at the Singapore Boys' Hostel (SBHL). Through fun activities like sports, arts and craft sessions and games, we hope to foster a warm and caring youth community in SBHL.
SBHL houses youths between the ages of 12 and 21. Such youths may be on probation orders, or may be seeking shelter from unsuitable family conditions. Through the youths’ stay in the Hostel, Trybe Limited, the appointed manager of SBHL since 2011, aims to help them live crime-free lives and contribute positively to society. It also aims to increase the level of familial support its youths receive and cultivate positive relationships with pro-social adult figures that will strengthen their chances of completing their probation.
This opportunity is a youth-led initiative part of Youth Corps Leaders Programme, and is only open to volunteers aged 21 to 25 years old.
