About Project Neighbour Cares - 2025, Run 3
Join us as Volunteer Befrienders to brighten the lives of seniors at Toa Payoh through weekly home visits!
Neighbour Cares aims to build a community of volunteers to check in on seniors (especially those experiencing social disconnectedness) regularly for any signs of distress. Through the befriending process, it is in hopes that the seniors will be encouraged by volunteers to be active and get connected with the wider community in Toa Payoh.
Home visits will be held over the weekend, 9am-12pm, for 10 sessions, starting on 7 June 2025 and ending on 10 August 2025.
Home visit date and times are subject to changes, depending on the availability of the befriending group.
Volunteer Befrienders are expected to have a minimum of 80% attendance.
This opportunity is a youth-led initiative part of Youth Corps Leaders Programme, only open to volunteers aged 17 to 35 years old.
