About me

"Hi, I'm Raffi. With 20 years of dedicated experience in the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) of Singapore, I have built deep expertise in immigration operations, border security, and enforcement. My initial frontline experience began at Woodlands Command as a Primary Screening Officer. I later served 2 years in the Woodlands Anti-Smuggling Team, followed by a posting to Airport Command where I did passenger clearance at the Arrival Hall before appointed as Baggage Deputy Team Leader for 6 years. I was fortunate enough to be appointed as a Trainer in Training Command for 2 years. I have since returned to Woodlands Command, continuing to strengthen Singapore’s border defences. I am also appointed as an ICA Para Counsellor and an ICARE member, underscoring my commitment to staff well-being and organisational values and still conduct training as an adjunct trainer. As a Grassroots Leader at Chengsan Community Centre, I actively contribute to the community. I also have experience mentoring ITE students. ICA regularly send me for specialised training to stay current with evolving immigration and security practices."
