"Hi, I'm Sylvia. I’ve been working in the social service sector for the past five years, gaining experience across a variety of areas including partnerships, fundraising, event planning, curriculum development, and social media communications. This broad experience has recently allowed me to transition into the public service, where I continue to apply my skills to create impact. My career journey hasn’t been linear — starting from a law diploma, history degree, and navigating me way through the non-profit world. I know firsthand how overwhelming it can feel to navigate the many career possibilities and options available. I’m passionate about mentoring youths, to share insights from my own experiences and help them explore opportunities with confidence."
