Frequently asked questions (FAQs)
  • What should Models put in their modelling portfolio?

Models' portfolio should showcase a variety of different shots. Besides a good headshot, they will also need three-quarter length and full-length photographs. There should be at least six shots and, at most, twenty in the portfolio, nothing more.

  • Do Models have to be tall?
Not necessarily. Agencies seek tall Models to meet clothing measurements for runway modelling or clothing advertisements. Height is no longer crucial if Models go into other types of modelling, such as glamour (makeup), hair, hand, etc.

They can still model for websites or social media posts. Maintaining a neat appearance, clear face, good teeth, and hair is important to get modelling opportunities, not forgetting a positive attitude as well.

Walking is an essential part of the job, so yes, they need to walk a lot.

Not necessarily. While many choose to sign with an agency, there are alternative paths to becoming a Model.
  • What is a challenge faced by Models?
The modelling industry is highly competitive. Models must continuously work on improving their skills, physical appearance, and networking skills to stand out.
