Warehouse Officer Job Description
- Monitor warehouse processes and operations from order placement to receiving, handling, distribution and storage of products.
- Developing plans to keep track of warehouse facilities and storage utilisation.
- Coordinating workers and products within the warehouse to maximise efficiency.
- Ensure a safe working environment through incident and crisis management plans.
- Liaise with suppliers and transportation companies to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement and delivery of goods.
- Implement inventory management systems to accurately track stock levels and prevent stock outs or overstock situations.
- Conduct regular audits of warehouse inventory to maintain accuracy and identify discrepancies for resolution.
Note
Transport Operators are not limited to courier and freight industries! In the Singapore Armed Forces, there are Transport Operators as well! They manoeuvre military and heavy vehicles through different terrains, providing support across air, land and sea operations!

- Employers may also value higher educational qualifications or specialised training in Logistics and Warehouse Operations, which can lead to more advanced positions within the industry.
