ABOUT THE SPEAKER:

Filmmaker Kyle Ong is a creator who has turned craft into scalable creative IP. With 13 years of experience producing film, video, photo, and podcasts, Kyle is known as a “Creative Swiss Knife” — someone who can ideate, execute, and adapt across formats without losing storytelling depth.

He is the co-founder and executive-producer of HANTU, a horror content company transforming Southeast Asian myths into emotionally resonant, multi-platform IPs across podcasts, film, education, and broadcast. Since launching in 2019, HANTU has built award-winning and commercially viable originals, including Ghost Maps, an internationally acclaimed podcast with 22.5 million reach and multiple Asia Podcast Awards.


Other productions under HANTU include:

Dead Air, a monthly talk show that features conversations with a variety of personalities;

Tales From Incredible Tales, a retrospective spin-off series commissioned by Mediacorp in 2024- 2025 to revitalize their classic Incredible Tales IP brand. The hit show’s third season debuted in late August 2025.
