Journey of Career Building: Preparing for the World of Work
About this programme
This programme prepares youths for the realities of the working world by helping them understand how careers are built through skills, experiences, and informed decision-making. Through interactive activities, simulations, and guided discussions, participants explore what employers value and how to translate their experiences into meaningful career readiness.
Participants will engage in hands-on activities that help them identify and articulate skills gained from school, co-curricular activities, and personal experiences. They will also navigate realistic career scenarios, learning how to evaluate options, manage trade-offs, and make decisions in an evolving and uncertain environment.
By the end of the programme, participants will develop stronger confidence in presenting their skills, clearer awareness of employability expectations, and improved ability to make informed career-related decisions. This programme equips youths with practical tools and mindsets to navigate their future pathways with clarity and adaptability.
