Overview
Real change happens in the spaces between public service and community. Step behind the scenes and into the world of Partnership and Engagement (PE) - where policy meets people, and meaningful relationships are built. Join us to explore how the Singapore Government Partnerships Office (SGPO) builds those bridges and what it means to partner with citizens in ways that last.
What to Expect
- Introduction to SGPO: Get an overview of how SGPO work with citizens and communities to co-create solutions for a better Singapore.
- Operation NEET Connect Activity: Step into the shoes of a Partnerships Officer and navigate a citizen partnership scenario, from initial outreach to collaboration.
- Q&A with Practitioners: Hear from SGPO officers about what PE work is really like on the ground.
Session Objectives
- Learn how government-citizen partnerships are formed and sustained
- Gain appreciation of what PE work looks like in public service
- Hear from practitioners on the rewards and challenges and of working in the PE space
Who should attend?
IHL students (ITE, Poly, JC and University Students) who are interested in learning more about MCCY and PE work in the public sector.
