Attraction hosts/handlers interact with guests from all over the world, assist in training, and provide general care to animals.

Description

  • Perform housekeeping duties and assist in animal husbandry - the science of breeding and caring for animals.
  • Prepare food and water for animals while training, grooming and caring for their wellbeing.
  • Monitor and examine the health and wellbeing of animals and conduct checks on animal housing and work areas.
  • Support animal performance presentations and guest engagement sessions to create memorable experiences for visitors.
  • Ensure general cleanliness and good appearance of attraction while providing guest information and assistance.

Entry requirements

  • You'll need at least 'O' Levels, NITEC, or a Diploma to get started in this exciting field.
  • It's good to have experience in acting or hosting as you're likely to present to large audiences during shows, including one-on-one interactions with animals and visitors.
