Overview
Communication controllers monitor daily rail operations by tracking passenger activities, train operations, and providing live service updates.
Description
- Monitor CCTV and alert systems for any incidents.
- Broadcast service announcements through public announcement or display systems.
- Comply with workplace safety and health policies and the Rapid Transit System (RTS) of Practice.
- Assist in investigating incidents.
- Conduct routine checks and escalate issues to relevant stakeholders.
Entry requirements
- You'll need minimally a GCE O-Level qualification, though an A-Level qualification is preferred.
- Prior service industry experience, especially with public announcement or telecommunications systems, is valuable.
