Description
- Monitor and maintain standard procedures during emergencies.
- Carry out damage control requirements.
- Observe national and international maritime codes of conduct.
- Ensure the safety of passengers and cargo.
- Inspect and report defects or damage to ship parts and equipment.
Entry requirements
- You may apply for the Certificate of Competency (Special Limits) Deck Officer programme. The programme requires N-Level passes in English, Math, Science or Workplace Literacy Level 5. The course fees are fully funded, and training allowances are provided.
