Author Job Description
- Create and construct creative ideas by brainstorming, researching potential topics, and developing characters and plotlines.
- Edit the manuscript to ensure proper language and a cohesive storyline with a consistent tone throughout the narrative.
- Actively seek and consider feedback to improve the manuscript based on comments from Publishers, Editors or Literary Agents.
- Work with Publishers on the book launch and book promotions.
Note
The publication process can take such a long time, that some Authors take up other writing assignments to pad up their income, such as writing Advertising copy or articles for Media publications.
