Note

Fitness Instructors work flexible hours, including nights and weekends. Some travel to different locations to teach classes or conduct exercise sessions. Group Fitness Instructors may have other jobs and conduct classes during their off-hours.

    • You may need to obtain certain vocational or professional Fitness certifications depending on which area of Fitness you want to specialise in. You can look into the Federation of International Sports, Aerobics and Fitness (FISAF) Singapore, and Singapore Sports Council (SSC). There are also international institutions that offer online or mail-in certifications in Singapore.
