- Perform sound editing, foley and automated dialogue replacement on equipment.
- Perform sound mixing to blend sound elements for coherent sound quality.
- Test sound equipment before broadcasting, recording or other events.
- Check that sound equipment is set up according to required technical specifications, frame rates or audio formats.
