Entry requirements

  • Different pathways prepare you for teaching based on your qualifications:.
  • A-Level/Polytechnic/IB holders: Two-year Diploma in Education (DipEd) for primary subjects, or Bachelor of Arts/Science (Education) Teaching Scholars Programme.
  • University graduates: Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) at NIE.
