About this programme

Design your 2026: A Bold Year-End Career and Life Reflection

Before the year ends, take time to pause, reflect and reimagine!

Whether 2025 was filled with big wins, detours or just surviving the grind, this workshop offers you a fresh space to take stock and design what's next with intention. Inspired by Stanford's Designing Your Life course and adapted for Singaporean youths, this experience blends bold conversations with practical tools to help you explore work and life through the lens of design thinking.

In this reflective, hands-on session, you will:

  1. Gain self-awareness around your values, strengths and goals
  2. Identify and better understand your current life context, acknowledging and taking stock of where you are at
  3. Imagine new possibilities and identify small actions toward your desired future

We hope this session helps you realise that there's no single right path, only the path that feels right for you and that you'll leave not just with insights, but with a clearer direction for 2026 and beyond!

Key takeaways

Through guided reflection and Odyssey Planning, participants experienced how design thinking can be applied to life and career decisions — helping them move forward with intention, curiosity, and confidence into 2026 and beyond.

Participants left Design Your 2026: A Bold Year-End Career and Life Reflection with greater clarity, calm, and courage as they looked ahead. Key takeaways included:

  1. Greater self-awareness around personal values, strengths, fears, and life seasons — recognising that life is not linear and can be viewed as evolving chapters rather than fixed timelines
  2. Reframing fear and risk by learning to name fears clearly, understand what is truly at stake, and make space for them without letting fear dictate decisions
  3. Grounded optimism about the present, with many realising that life “as it is” may already be meaningful, even as they imagine future possibilities
  4. Perspective across time, using reflections from their younger and older selves to gain insight into what matters most in the long run
  5. Practical next steps, identifying small, intentional actions they can take toward desired futures rather than waiting for perfect clarity
